Our Services

Mobile Veterinary Services Offered

Mobile Animal Health Care (Des Moines ONLY Mobile Veterinary Hospital) and Dr. Linda Stroh provide the following mobile veterinary services right in the privacy or security of your own home at no additional fee.

Physical Exam

Because our pets have shorter life spans than humans, the onset and progression of disease can be very subtle and undetectable to most caretakers.  Dr. Stroh will examine your pet in the comfort of its own home or our 26' mobile veterinary hospital with superb bedside manner.  Your pets health can be more accurately assessed under these conditions because clinical signs of disease are not masked by the adrenaline surge caused by traveling to the veterinary hospital.  A more accurate physical exam is one of the most important and valuable features utalizing a mobile veterinarian.

Pet Wellness and Disease Prevention

Vaccines, parasite control and disease monitoring are a very important part of your pet's health.  Dogs and cats constantly have their noses to the ground consuming dirt and feces.  By nature, many pets hunt small prey which may harbor transmissible parasites, viral and bacterial disease.  Furthermore, our pets all have their own predisposition for particular genetic or breed specific diseases and conditions which can be monitored or ruled out with modern testing.  As Des Moines ONLY mobile Veterinarian, Dr. Stroh can assess a pets home invironment and make suggestions pertaining to living quarters, safety, diet and other living conditions.

Our focus on patient safety, pain managementm and employing the most current surgical practices is designed to exceed your expectations and put your concerns to rest. Our staff of compassionate, caring professinals will monitor you pet before, during, and after surgery and will take exceptional care to ensure a safe and complete recover for you pet. We will also address any questions or concers that you may have about surgery, including concerns about anesthesia, pain management, or postoperative care.

Are you having problems caring for a terminally ill pet at home?  Does your pet have a medical condition that is painful or causing poor quality of life?  Are you afraid that your sick or elderly pet is suffering?

Our staff of compassionate, caring professionals can help you through this painful experience.  We offer hospice services and will work with you to ensure your pet's comfort and dignity during his or her last days and final moments.

Deciding when your pet may need hospice care or euthanasia is a very personal and private decision, but that doesn't mean you have to make this difficult choice on your own. Our hospice and humane euthanasia services are conducted with respect, compassion, and care.  Before you struggle through one more day with a sick, elderly, or terminally ill pet that is suffering, call us to learn more how we can help.
